The Star of Bethlehem's Glow

Beneath the sky, where shepherds knelt,

A humble story of love was felt.

Not in splendor or kingly might,

But in a manger, came the Light.

Through silent fields, the angels sang,

As heaven’s glory to earth it rang.

“Glory to God, and peace to men,

For Christ is born in Bethlehem!”

A child so tender, yet divinely bold,

The prophecies of ages foretold.

A Savior to heal, to mend, to guide,

A King whose love would never divide.

The cross loomed near, the mission clear,

To conquer death, dispel all fear.

And yet, in swaddling cloth He lay,

A babe who’d guide the world’s lost way.

This is Christmas, the gospel’s call:

God’s love incarnate, given to all.

Let hearts arise, let praises ring,

For Christ is born, the Savior King.
