He Will Guide the Future as He Has the Past

With hands of love, so tender and vast,

He guides the future as He has the past.

A Father divine, with mercy unfurled,

Shielding His children from the storms of the world.

Through valleys shadowed, dark and deep,

His watchful eyes never cease to keep.

Protecting His own from every snare,

An eternal guardian, always there.

He blesses abundantly, meeting each need,

Planting hope’s seeds where His children plead.

When paths seem dim and trials oppress,

His light shines through with loving caress.

From dangers unseen, He pulls us near,

Dispelling every doubt, quelling each fear.

A supernal power, majestic and kind,

In His embrace, solace we find.

Through winds that howl and tempests that rage,

His promises steady, His word our stage.

The future unknown may seem vast and grim,

Yet we rest assured, trusting in Him.

For His love is eternal, steadfast, and true,

A beacon of hope in all that we do.

With hearts full of faith, we boldly cast,

Our trust in Him, as He guides the future as He has the past.

A Song of Gratitude and Praise

O Lord, my God, how great Thou art,

From morning’s dawn to night’s last spark.

The world declares Thy matchless might,

In stars that glimmer, in skies alight.

For life’s first breath and beating heart,

For love that binds, though we're apart.

For hands to serve, for feet to roam,

For earth beneath, and heaven, my home.

The rivers sing; the mountains cry,

Their voices lift to pierce the sky.

The flowers bloom, the oceans roar,

All testify of Thee and more.

In joy and sorrow, peace and strife,

Thou art the giver of all life.

For daily bread, for trials too,

Each moment draws me nearer You.

For friendships dear, for family’s care,

For answered prayers, and those still there.

For hope that shines when shadows fall,

Thy grace sustains and blesses all.

O let my heart, in humble tone,

Lift up its thanks before Thy throne.

Forever grateful, Lord, I'll raise

A ceaseless song of love and praise.

Amen.

The Star of Bethlehem's Glow

Beneath the sky, where shepherds knelt,

A humble story of love was felt.

Not in splendor or kingly might,

But in a manger, came the Light.

Through silent fields, the angels sang,

As heaven’s glory to earth it rang.

“Glory to God, and peace to men,

For Christ is born in Bethlehem!”

A child so tender, yet divinely bold,

The prophecies of ages foretold.

A Savior to heal, to mend, to guide,

A King whose love would never divide.

The cross loomed near, the mission clear,

To conquer death, dispel all fear.

And yet, in swaddling cloth He lay,

A babe who’d guide the world’s lost way.

This is Christmas, the gospel’s call:

God’s love incarnate, given to all.

Let hearts arise, let praises ring,

For Christ is born, the Savior King.

Praise To The Creator

Praise to the Creator, source of all light,

In the heavens above, in the depths of the night.

Infinite and eternal, our God, so divine,

We lift up our voices in worship, we shine.

Oh, how majestic, your works are displayed,

From galaxies spinning to the flowers in the glade.

Your wisdom and glory, beyond our finite grasp,

In awe and in reverence, we kneel as we clasp.

The Earth, your creation, a testament true,

In every sunrise and sunset, we see you.

The oceans, the mountains, the forests so grand,

All sing your praises across every land.

In moments of joy and in sorrow so deep,

Your presence, O God, our souls you keep.

In trials and triumphs, in every embrace,

We're guided by your love, your infinite grace.

With hearts full of gratitude, we raise our song,

To you, our Creator, to you we belong.

For the gift of existence, the love that you share,

We offer our praise, our thanks in prayer.

In unity, we gather, your name we adore,

Forever and always, we'll praise you more.

Hallelujah, Hosanna, our voices raise high,

Praise to the Lord, our God, who reigns in the sky.

THE EYES OF MY WIFE

In her eyes, a universe I see,

A realm of beauty, a deep mystery.

Twinkling stars in the midnight sky,

Her gaze, my anchor, as time goes by.

Eyes that sparkle, like morning's first light,

Chasing away the darkest of night.

In those windows to her soul, I find,

Love's reflection, so warm and kind.

The depth of her eyes, an endless sea,

A sanctuary where I long to be.

In her gaze, I find my home and grace,

A captivating smile on her precious face.

With every look, my heart takes flight,

In her eyes, I find my guiding light.

A love story written in every glance,

In her eyes, I find our sweet romance.

So, here's to the eyes that hold my heart,

In your gaze, I found my life's best part.

With every look, my love for you will rise,

Lost forever in the beauty of your eyes.

How Wondrous, How Great

How wondrous, how great
That for me a sinner thou didst die
To set eternally free
With a glorious home on high
How great the excruciating pains
That thou did suffer for me
My eloquent tongue cannot tell
Nor the mighty words in my dictionary
How great how glorious the eternal gains
Of this unfathomable sacrifice of love
My mind has not been able to conceive
Nor my eyes seen its splendor
But my poor heart knows certainly
That thou did suffer and die for me
That I might live again with thee
In that glorious mansion above
How grateful how happy
For the joy of receiving forgiveness
And feeling of they presences
When I call on thee in silent prayer

Be Gone Unbelieve

Following the outbreak of this Covid19, nations all over the world ordered a “Stay at home.” The virus has no cure yet and is easily transmitted from person to person. There have been no regular daily human activities outside the home. This have caused economic hardship to many.

Leaders in some nations have promised palliatives to those badly affected by this pandemic. Yet there are fears that these may not get to those who needed them most because of politics and corruption. The common man is now left to either curse God and die or continue to have hope that no matter how dark the night is, there will be dawn convoyed by its resplendent brightness.

With the increasing confirmed cases and deaths, and the elongation of the stay at home order, many are beginning to qualm their faith and hope in God for perkier days. In these dispiriting veracities, many Christians have taken to social media to express their frustrations or disappointment on the actions and inactions of their leaders.

“Be gone unbelieve my Savior is near” John Newton wrote “and for my relief will surely appear.” There is never a better time to hold firm to your faith and hope in God than now. Government, ecclesiastical leaders, employers, clients, even families may fail you but the Lord promised: “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” Heb 13: 5. Therefore, “Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid neither be thou dismayed for the Lord they God is with thee” Joshua 1:9. With Christ in the vessel of our lives, we’ll smile at the boisterous storm of Covid19 and its attendant famine.

Yes, it is true, the night and even day has become darker than what we expect. Food is finished, rent has expired, the small family savings are exhausted, lockdown is still in full force and may continue for a while. The lively home full of laughter, joy, and happiness is now shrouded with cries, pains, depression, and fear of the unknown morrow.

“though dark be [our] ways, since [God] is [our] guide”, it is for us to obey and follow the WHO recommended guidelines and trust in His power to provide the help, healing, deliverance, and miracle we so desire.  And I assure you He will. “His love, in time past, Forbids me to think He’ll leave [us] at last In trouble to sink.” There are countless pieces of evidence which “confirms His good pleasure” to help us through this pandemic.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Therefore, He tells you and I “Be still, and know that I am God.” Ps. 46:1,10. Whatever may betide you, my dear, do not lose faith and hope in God.
